Work Simplr Privacy Policy

This document (our “Privacy Policy”) describes Work Simplr policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the Work Simplr site, accessible from http://worksimplr.com/ (the “Site”), and our related services (the “Services”).

1. Information We Collect

  • If you register for an Account, we collect the information that you provide for your profile, along with information we obtain about your skills and interests from our 10 minute chat or email exchanges. You may add additional information about yourself, which may be available and used publicly to help match you to projects.
  • You will be asked to provide additional personal and payment information that is required to process the transaction and your payment. We may also need additional information to process any applicable tax forms.
  • You do may choose not to provide us with Personal Information, but if we do not receive certain information from you, then we will not be able to provide our Services to you.
Non-Personal Information and Automatic Data Collection Technologies.
As you navigate through and interact with our Site, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:

Third-party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies.
Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Site are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our website. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. We do make an exception for active students 17 years old with parental permission to participate on the site, as those students are often high school seniors and/or entering college freshmen who qualify for other types of paid employment. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
10. "Do Not Track" Policy as Required by California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
“Do Not Track” or “DNT” refers to a mechanism that allows you to control the tracking of your online activities across websites.Our Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
